Chemokine Profiles Are Affected in Serum of Patients with Acute Rejection of Kidney Allograft

Serum concentrations of chemokines attracting mainly neutrophils (a) CXCL1, (b) CXCL5, (c) CXCL6, and (d) CXCL8 were measured in samples collected before and one week, one month, and one year after kidney allograft transplantation. Results from patients with uncomplicated outcomes () were compared with those with acute rejection (). In patients with acute rejection, additional serum sample was collected at the day of diagnostic biopsy positive for rejection. Data are expressed as ; ; ; .
