The effects of sinapic acid (SA) on the protein levels of MLCK and MLC in LPS-treated Caco-2 cells. Caco-2 cells were incubated with LPS (10 μg/ml) and SA (5, 10, or 15 μmol/l) for 24 h and then used for western blot analysis. The results are expressed as the protein expression level (normalized to β-actin) relative to that in unstimulated cells and are shown as the of three independent experiments. # denotes vs. the normal control group (Nor.), and denotes vs. the LPS group.
