Upregulation of ADAM8 expression in the livers of mice fed on a high-fat diet. (a–e) Relative mRNA expression levels of Adam8 (a), TNF-α (b), IL-6 (c), Adam10 (d), and Adam17 (e) were analysed in the livers of mice that were either fed on a normal diet (Ctrl) or a high-fat diet for 7 weeks (HFD-7 w) or 14 weeks (HFD-14 w). The mRNA expression of the genes of interest was normalised to the average of three reference genes: 18S, β-actin, and Rps29. Data are shown as the (/group).
