Combined injury increases plasma levels of the inflammatory and repair biomarkers osteopontin and progranulin. Osteopontin was increased in CCI+FF mice compared to all other groups and in the CCI and FF groups in comparison to sham. Progranulin was increased in CCI+FF mice in comparison to sham and FF.
