Treatment with <i>Commelina communis</i> Extract Exerts Anti-inflammatory Effects in Murine Macrophages via Modulation of the Nuclear Factor-<i>κ</i>B Pathway

<div><i>Commelina communis</i> extract (CCE) treatment downregulates inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) expression in lipopolysaccharide- (LPS-) treated RAW 264.7 cells. iNOS expression in cytosolic protein fraction was examined using western blotting (a) and quantitated upon comparison with <i>β</i>-actin expression (b). iNOS mRNA expression was investigated using real-time polymerase chain reaction (c).
