Arsenic Induces Continuous Inflammation and Regulates Th1/Th2/Th17/Treg Balance in Liver and Kidney In Vivo

Subchronic arsenic exposure increased the activities of serum alanine amino transferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST), as well as hepatorenal myeloperoxidase (MPO) in mice. Mice were treated with 25 and 50 mg/L NaAsO2 for 1 and 3 months. The activities of serum ALT (a) and AST (b) and MPO in the liver (c) and kidney (d) were determined.
