Arsenic Induces Continuous Inflammation and Regulates Th1/Th2/Th17/Treg Balance in Liver and Kidney In Vivo

Subchronic arsenic exposure raised the levels of inflammatory cytokines in the liver and kidney. Mice were treated with 25 and 50 mg/L NaAsO2 by drinking water for 1 and 3 months. The mRNA levels of IL-1β, IL-6, IL-12, and TNF-α in liver (a–d), as well as in kidney (e–h) were determined by real-time PCR. Data were expressed as . compared with control mice.
