EFTUD2 single allele knockout results in ISGs reduced can be rescued by EFTUD2 overexpression. EFTUD2+/-HepG2.2.15 cells were transfected with EFTUD2 plasmid and negative control plasmid for 24 h. WT EFTUD2 cells were used as control and then treated with 5000 IU/mL IFN-α for 24 h. (a) HBV DNA was detected by qPCR 48 h after transfection. (b) 48 h after transfection, the protein levels of MxA, OAS1, and PKR were analyzed by Western blotting. from three independent experiments performed in triplicate is shown.
