Dimethyl Fumarate Protects against Lipopolysaccharide- (LPS-) Induced Sepsis through Inhibition of NF-κB Pathway in Mice

Figure 2

Effects of DMF on TNF-α, IL-6, G-CMF, and MCP-1 production by LPS-activated murine macrophages. RAW264.7 cells underwent incubation with DMF and subsequent treatment with 10 μg/ml LPS. (a) Cytokine array panel was represented by the membrane. The production of several cytokines was shown by rounded black spots, and the gray value of each cytokine was determined. (b) The results indicated that, compared with the blank group, the expressions of TNF-a, IL-6, G-CMF, and MCP-1 were significantly increased after LPS stimulation. However, after DMF administration, the gray values of TNF-a, IL-6, G-CMF, and MCP-1 were decreased, respectively, compared with LPS control. The values are presented as the mean ± SD of three different samples. The student’s t-test was employed for determining statistical significance. .
