Penfluroidol Attenuates the Imbalance of the Inflammatory Response by Repressing the Activation of the NLRP3 Inflammasome and Reduces Oxidative Stress via the Nrf2/HO-1 Signaling Pathway in LPS-Induced Macrophages

PF inhibited activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. RAW264.7 cells were treated with PF for 24 hr and stimulated with LPS (1 μg/ml) for 24 hr. (a–d) Western blotting technology was used to investigate the protein expression of NLRP3, cleave-caspase-1, and IL-1β. (e and f) The level of IL-1β was measured by ELISA and qRT-PCR.
