In the article titled “Intraspecific and Intracolonial Variation in the Profile of Venom Alkaloids and Cuticular Hydrocarbons of the Fire Ant Solenopsis saevissima Smith (Hymenoptera: Formicidae)” [1], the method description was incomplete and inaccurate. Thus, the last part of the “2.4. GC-MS Analyses” section “The injector temperature was 250°C. Oven temperature was programmed to increase at 12°C/min from 50°C to 330°C, with a final hold time of 1 min” should be corrected to “The injector temperature was 250°C. Oven temperature was programmed to increase at 12°C/min from 50°C to 290°C with a hold pause for 6 minutes, followed by an increase of 30°C/min from 290°C to 320°C followed by a final hold time of 1 min.”
