The Flavonoid Glabridin Induces OCT4 to Enhance Osteogenetic Potential in Mesenchymal Stem Cells

<div>Schematic summary of the effect of glabridin on osteogenesis of MSCs. Our results suggest that glabridin upregulates the expression level of the <i>OCT4</i> gene associated with stemness and that of <i>DLX5</i> and <i>RUNX2</i> genes related to osteogenesis. Glabridin enhances <i>OCT4</i>-induced osteogenesis of MSCs by activating <i>OSTEOCALCIN</i> and <i>OSTEOPONTIN</i> genes for osteogenic differentiation.</div>
