Direct effect of immunosuppressants on MSC functions in vitro. MSCs were loaded into a 96-well plate at 1 × 10⁴ cells/well and treated with immunosuppressants for 24 h. Viability was measured by XTT assay (a) and the levels of TGF-β1 (b) and PGE₂ (c) in culture medium were measured by ELISA.
