Antioxidant Properties of Tonsil-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells on Human Vocal Fold Fibroblast Exposed to Oxidative Stress

<div>Analysis of ROS production and expression of MDA following treatment with tBHP. (a) The fluorescence intensity in the DCFDA array increased following treatment of hVFFs with tBHP. After coculturing with TMSC, tBHP-treated hVFFs exhibited significantly decreased fluorescence intensity levels. (b) MDA was significantly increased in tBHP-treated hVFFs, while coculture with TMSCs significantly decreased MDA levels. Results are 3 technical replicates of TMSC from one donor. Representative results from two different TMSCs with similar tendency were presented. For multigroup comparison, ANOVA followed by the Bonferroni post hoc test was used for statistics.
