CircRNA FAT1 Regulates Osteoblastic Differentiation of Periodontal Ligament Stem Cells via miR-4781-3p/SMAD5 Pathway

<div>SMAD5 regulates the osteoblastic differentiation ability of PDLSCs. (a)–(c) Western blot and RT-qPCR showed that osteogenic markers (RUNX2, OSX, COL1A, and COL3A) were downregulated in the SMAD5 siRNA-treated PDLSCs (si-SMAD5 group). (d, e) Silence of SMAD5 reduced the ALP activity of PDLSCs 7 days after osteogenic induction. ARS showed the mineralization of PDLSCs was decreased significantly in the si-SMAD5 group after osteogenic induction for 14 days.
