Intranasally Administered Extracellular Vesicles from Adipose Stem Cells Have Immunomodulatory Effects in a Mouse Model of Asthma

Figure 6

Effects of adipose stem cell- (ASC-) derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) on cytokine levels by ELISA in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) (a) and lung draining lymph nodes (LLNs) (b). IL-4, IL-5, and IL-13 levels were significantly increased in the BALF of the OVA group compared to the PBS group. Treatment with ASC-derived EVs remarkably reduced the levels of IL-4 but increased the levels of IFN-γ in the BALF. ASC-derived EV treatment notably decreased the levels of IL-4 and IL-13 in the LLNs. Data are expressed as the of four independent experiments, each performed in triplicate. , , , and §.
